Hike is hard (I’ve run easier marathons!) - I only had one day in Antigua to acclimatise so would recommend another day if someone’s travel schedule allows! The bus from the town was chaotic as left an hour later than scheduled and then stopped to pick up food, water and cold weather gear for those that were renting it. This took ages and we felt like they could have organised this when you booked or when we were waiting to leave town! That said it’s the best hike you will ever do, great value…”

Also on day 2 we had a 2.5 hour wait for tourists to finish the glacier hike who were on the 1 day tour (their bus would be used for the 2 day tourists) .”
