Spend two days walking from Sapa through Suoi Ho, Giang Cha, Ta Phin, Suoi Thau, and Phin Ho. You’ll cross rice terraces, cornfields, bamboo forest, and jungle, sleep in a local home, then visit Love Waterfall, Silver Waterfall, and Heaven Gate. Guides may include Mr. Tinh or Mo.

Start around 5:30 am from Sapa and hike Fansipan from Tram Ton Pass at 1,900 meters. An English-speaking local guide leads you through bamboo, cardamom, and rhododendron forests, serves lunch at 2,800 meters, and guides you to Vietnam’s highest summit. Return by trail or cable car, with the cable car ticket extra.
