Meet your multilingual Aventura guide in Santiago del Teide, ride to Masca, and descend the gorge for about 3.5 hours. You’ll need proper hiking shoes, ID, water, and snacks. The day ends with a 15-minute water taxi past Los Gigantes and a bus back to the car park.
“Marie was an exceptional guide, always explaining things and communicating clearly. I’ve learned a lot about the plant life and geological phenomena in Masca gorge on this trip. Marie didn’t hurry anyone, but was setting a good pace, since there were other people scheduled after our own group. Accordingly, we didn’t see many people on the hike, which added to the atmosphere. Lots of time for taking pictures. Since it is now mandatory to use public busses, you’re dependent on them arriving on time, but that’s no fault of the agency. We’ve seen an amazing natural scenery and it was well worth our time.”

Travel from Valencia to Montanejos by coach, enter the Fuente de los Baños, and choose a guided mountain hike with wide views. The springs stay near 25°C, but bring water, food, sturdy shoes, sun protection, and water shoes if you plan to bathe.
